Project Management | Special Topics | Entrepreneurs and SME

SMB = SME = SMO

In SUKAD, we like to use the term SMO (Small and Medium Organization) instead of SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) or SMB (Small and Medium Business). In general, SMO, SME, and SMB are interchangeable terms and we use them interchangeably here.

The reason we prefer the term ‘SMO’, instead of the other terms, is the word ‘organization’ refers to any organization, which include not-for-profit, government, or even a business of a large company. Whereas, the terms ‘Enterprise’ and ‘Business’, refer to a commercial entity.
